Question by Lisa: Should I take a carpentry course?
I want to sign up for a carpentry course but my husband is against it. He says its a waste of time because women aren’t good at woodworking. “Not built for that sort of thing”. I have mixed feelings about this. Most of the people in the class are men, and maybe my husband has a bit of a point because I don’t see many girls hammering nails and sawing wood in my neighborhood. But I’ve always wanted to try it, should I give it up just because I’m female? Seems kind of unfair. Advice?

Answer by RacerYou go girl…. are you kidding me?? I think that’s totally awesome !! I’ve learned to do so many things on my own because my first husband was a looser and wouldn’t do anything. I’ve done electrical jobs, carpentry, painting, siding…etc…
